MEET OUR STAFF

Brian Sump : President

Brian is a Denver native and retired pro football player who spent four years studying Civil Engineering and Business at the Colorado School of Mines. He developed a love for German cars after tuning his first VW in high school and his passion for the niche continues to grow. Brian co-pastors a Christian church in Westminster, CO in his spare time and attributes his success to God's calling to be a light in the marketplace.

Brian is very well versed in German automobiles. He became the owner of Avalon Motorsports in February 2007 after spending several months prior to that working in the company. His burning passion to transform the automotive industry through innovation and training and his relentless pursuit for perfection makes it easy to see that he is an avid enthusiast at heart.

BRITT : Operations Coordinator

Britt is a Florida native with a Texas background, who now calls Colorado home. After closing a chapter in food, beverage, and hospitality management, she opened a new one as our new Operations Coordinator. She possesses strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, amazing artistic skills and the drive to grow.

Britt enjoys spending the weekends in the mountains with her husband bird watching, houseplants, traveling and visiting with her family.

WADE : Service Manager

Wade is a former technician, having worked on a wide variety of vehicles for over a decade. He took his knowledge and problem-solving abilities to a more client-facing role where his customer service skills could flourish. Wade enjoys fishing and is an avid outdoorsman.

Keith U : Service Advisor

Keith is an integral part of the Avalon team as a Client Care specialist. His role is very diverse and includes detailing client vehicles, taking care of our facility, giving clients rides, picking up parts and just being a supporter for any team member’s needs. In 2020, Keith won the STRIPE award for best exemplifying our company’s values, and that spans across all of the Avalon and Urban Autocare staff and locations.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys the mountains, playing video games, and spending time with family.

KEITH A : shop foreman

Keith has many years of dealership experience with Audi and BMW and he was also a Senior Technician and leader at Tesla for 4 years. Not only does he hold many certifications that include Electric, Hybrid, and Diesel vehicles, he also has a strong reputation in the industry as an expert diagnostician. Keith has been a close acquaintance of our team for many years and we are delighted to have him on board as a high-character and highly competent leader in the shop.

In his spare time Keith enjoys vacations at tropical destinations and playing frisbee golf.

AARON P : TECHNICIAN

Aaron joined Avalon in 2018 and brings extensive BMW dealership experience as well as independent shop experience with other German vehicles. He moved from Oregon to Colorado in 2014 to enjoy the many facets of our beautiful state. When he is not taking care of our clients' vehicles, he enjoys listening to audio books and podcasts, snowboarding, motorcross and trying new things.

Jose : Technician

Jose started at Avalon 2016 and possesses an automotive technology degree from Picken's Technical College in Aurora, CO. After spending two years in a local dealership, Jose joined our team and has quickly progressed to a fantastic technician. He can do it all! He comes to work every day with a great attitude and positive outlook and commits himself to getting each vehicle fixed right the first time. Outside of work, Jose enjoys soccer, tending to his horses and spending time with his family.
